Hiked Grinnel in 06 with my wife. Took the ferry from the hotel across both lakes to the base of the trail which made the hike easier for my wife whose knee was bothering her. On our return, we were prevented from crossing the bridge to the ferry because of a grizzly who was laying in the path. We had gotten between her and her 2 treed cubs. All finally worked out. Truly one of my favorite hikes. found your website when planning our 2010 trip to Bruce pennisula NP

If possible, I would love to get one of those maps as well. My family is going to Hixton in central WI this weekend. My oldest daughter wants to tour a cheese factory and I have has little luck finding a place.

Thanks,
Jeff

A friend of mine is bringing her kids across country from CA to PA. Her son, who has cancer, REALLY wants to see cheese being made in a factory. Would love a copy of your map. Thanks

Very nice and intimate portrayal of your memorable journey. I remember as a child seeing a photo of Chesler Park in a Rand McNally and always wanted to go. I made the journey 4 years ago only to find out later that I had stopped a few hundred yards short. I didn't see any signs and assumed I had reached my destination. Nonetheless it was a beautiful stop as was the rest of Needles. I look forward to going back.

Beautiful pictures, beautiful family is good all for you.
